Patient Monitor Running Status

The Patient Monitor section of the eChart Admin Home is where the Center's patient monitors are configured with eChart.

Running Status is available to users with the Patient Monitor permission. Running Status is most commonly used when troubleshooting monitor interface issues.

The Patient Monitors and Settings areas should only be used by HST Pathways staff.

 

 

Running Status

• If the pending data columns are filled, it indicates data is coming over from the monitor.
• If a "Running Workflow" link is a present for a monitor, tapping the link will open the chart that is currently importing the monitor data.
• If an edit icon is present in the "Stop Monitor" column, tapping the icon will open a confirmation flyout where the user can stop the monitor from recording data to a patient chart. The flyout displays the name and location of the patient whose chart is currently collecting the data. The flyout also displays the monitor name, the user who started the monitor, and the time at which the monitor started recording data. To stop the monitor, tap the Stop button in the flyout.

  

• If a "Last Workflow" link is present for a monitor, tapping the link will open the last chart that imported monitor data.
